Rosedale Cottage Restaurant is located in a handsome, heritage listed building in the leafy Sydney suburb of St Ives. Built in 1880 as the Headmaster’s cottage for the old St Ives Primary School, Rosedale Cottage offers old world charm but with an approach to food that is entirely modern.
We offer "Modern Australian" cuisine "with a Touch of French" - a relaxed lunch menu, tempting you with a mixture of traditional and modern European cuisine skilfully blended with the subtle flavours of Asia and the Middle East, supported by a more substantial, fine dining menu in the evening.
We are fully licenced, with an interesting wine list, however we also do accept BYO (wine only) and appropriately charge a byo service fee.
Four individual rooms, all opening into each other, plus an outside area, surrounded by a charming garden, can cater for small or large groups. Whilst our professional, friendly service will ensure that you and your guests are made to feel at ease.
To add to your pleasure, Rosedale Cottage is also a fully functional Art Gallery where exhibitions of local and other artists are shown throughout the year.
